Emerging Wisdom teeth

Wisdom teeth are the third set of molars that usually emerge between the ages of 17 to 25. They are located at the very back of your mouth. Wisdom teeth start to appear around five years after your second set of molars emerge. Wisdom teeth move through your jawbone and break across the gum line. This movement of wisdom teeth can cause many issues, such as headaches.

Impacted Wisdom Teeth

If your wisdom teeth do not erupt in a proper place or position, they are considered impacted. It is common for wisdom teeth to be impacted because there is not much space left for them to grow in, because of which the wisdom teeth may:

• Stuck in the jaw
• Push other molars
• Or emerge at an inappropriate angle

Impacted wisdom teeth can also cause some other issues. When they grow in a place where not much space is present, they push the other teeth and make them move, which results in an improper bite. The improper bite can compromise the lower jaw, which may cause issues, including pain, soreness, and headaches.
